Johnson, Knowles, Vreeland and Perkins

Bradner Johnson 1828-1867 was born in Seneca County New York and came to Hudson approx. 1854-56. He owned part of Military Lot 30. He married Elizabeth Anna Knowles daughter of Hezekiah Knowles of Rome Township. Elizabeth's grandmother, Elizabeth Redner Vreeland, 1786-1863, lived with Bradner and Elizabeth until her death. She was the widow of Michael M. Vreeland of Seneca County, New York. Bradner died and Elizabeth remarried Dr. Joseph Perkins of Hudson.
